More about our Ice Cream & Sorbets

Devilishly Delicious

No Compromise on Creaminess or Taste!

If you want to make the best quality ice cream, it makes sense that you would use the best quality milk possible. Our emphasis is on what goes into it, the flavour is full of goodness, and we support local farmers because our flavours and colours don’t come from syrups, they come from real food.

That’s where Jersey milk comes in. Milk from Jersey cows is naturally higher in nutrients and vitamins, as well as having a higher protein content and fat content than “normal” milk from Holstein cows. It is A2 protein which is easier on the stomach.

As a result, Jersey milk is naturally richer and creamier, and let’s face it – ice cream is usually judged on how rich and creamy it is, and you can really taste the difference with ice cream from The Devil’s Own Ice Creamery!

Delicious Sorbets

Let’s not forget about our award winning dairy free sorbets.  We serve these year around in our cafe, food van, and also via our retail stockists.  Find our stockists here.

Free from Artificial Colours, Artificial Flavours, and Preservatives

While we do support devils, we don’t support nasties! There is nothing more frustrating than looking at nutritional panels in the supermarket and seeing a bewildering list of numbers and letters, or chemical names you can’t hope to pronounce, much less know what it is.

We believe that ice cream should be as pure and natural as possible. Because of this, we take pride in ensuring that our products are free from artificial colours, artificial flavours and preservatives.

Food allergies can be a very serious business.

Always Allergy Friendly

We know how difficult it can be to find somewhere that truly understands and caters for individual allergies.  Everything we sell is gluten free.

We use a separate churner to make our dairy free sorbets, thus eliminating the cross contamination of dairy, we use a separate scoop for each flavour of ice cream or sorbet.

We do our best to ensure that all allergies are taken seriously, and we try to cater to allergies wherever possible.
